Port Speed and Bandwidth Limits
Port speed
Every VPS has a port speed, from 100 Mbps to 25 Gbps or a custom value, 1 Gbps by default. Download and upload can differ. Changes apply immediately, without a restart.
Monthly bandwidth
Set an allowance in GB, counting download and upload together. It resets on the 1st of each month. When it runs out:
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Notify only | The VPS keeps running at full speed and the overage is logged |
| Throttle | The port is slowed to the speed you choose until next month |
| Suspend | The VPS is powered off until next month; an admin can still start it |
Reset usage on the VPS's bandwidth tab sets this month's counter back to zero.
